  3. Open the extracted folder and double-click Vlix.exe.
  4. If you see a "Windows protected your PC" warning, click More info and then Run anyway.

How do I install Vlix on macOS?
  1. Download the .dmg file for your Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel).
  2. Open the file and drag the Vlix icon to your Applications folder.
  3. Double-click Vlix to open it.
  4. If you see a warning about an "Unidentified Developer", go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway near the bottom.

How do I install Vlix on Android?
  1. Download the .apk file to your phone.
  2. Tap the notification when the download finishes.
  3. If prompted, allow installation from Unknown Sources in your browser settings.
  4. Tap Install.

Look for the chat bubble icon in the bottom right corner of the app. Click it to open the assistant. You can ask for recommendations like "Show me 90s action movies" or ask questions about the movie you're currently watching.

Can I Get Viruses From Using Vlix?

No, Vlix is specifically designed to give you a safe and secure experience viewing free streams online. Streams are loaded in a sandboxed environment, free from popups, viruses, and malware.

How Does Vlix Handle Copyright?

Vlix does not host or serve any content itself. We offer a specialized web browser and AI-driven search experience for finding free content online, and a sandboxed environment to watch it in. DMCA notices should be sent to the content providers, not to Vlix.

How is Vlix different from Stremio?

Stremio is a powerful tool, but it can be complex to set up with addons, keys, and configurations. Vlix is designed to be "plug and play". You don't need to configure scrapers or buy Debrid keys. You just ask the AI for what you want to watch, and it plays.

Why use the Native App instead of the Web App?

The Web App is great for trying out Vlix or for iOS users who can't install the native app. However, browsers have limitations that prevent us from fully blocking ads.
